1) Can you please provide a brief introduction to your professional background, highlighting key milestones and achievements in your career?

With over 10 years of experience in the silver jewellery industry I’m deeply passionate about crafting timeless designs and bringing unique pieces to life.

I’m currently an IIM student while running Touch925, a silver jewellery startup I founded in July 2023. My journey has been an exciting one, combining my academic knowledge with entrepreneurial passion. Since the beginning of the business, we’ve gained over 1 million+ total engagements across digital platforms, which is a clear indication of the positive response our brand is getting. Our growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we are actively looking for investors to help scale our operations.

2) What inspired you to pursue a career in this business world, and how did you initially get started?

Jewellery has always fascinated me due to its personal and emotional value. I noticed a gap in the market for affordable yet high-quality silver jewellery that blends contemporary designs with classic appeal. This led to the creation of Touch925 in July 2023. I started the business with a clear vision of offering premium silver jewellery with an emphasis on durability and style. Despite being in school, I decided to pursue this venture full-time, combining my knowledge from IIM with my passion for jewellery.

3) Can you share some insights about your business products or services? How do you keep them competitive in these changing market trends?

Touch925 specializes in a wide range of high-quality silver jewellery, including necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets. What sets us apart is our focus on anti-tarnish technology, as well as making our products waterproof and sweat-proof for added durability. We create jewellery that is not only stylish but also built to last. In a constantly evolving market, we stay competitive by continuously adapting our designs to current trends, offering products like oxidized jewellery that are popular among customers. We also keep a close eye on customer feedback, which allows us to refine and improve our offerings to match their preferences.

4) What strategies or approaches have you employed to achieve success in your business endeavors?

One of our key strategies is customer-centric innovation. The brand focuses on creating jewellery that appeals to both traditional and contemporary tastes. Additionally, we’ve invested heavily in digital marketing, social media collaborations, and influencer partnerships. These efforts have resulted in a 200% increase in online engagement. Transparency and competitive pricing have also been crucial to earning the trust of our customers.

5) How do you set your business apart from others in your industry? And how does your business look different now vs. when you first started?

Touch925 stands out due to our unique approach to silver jewellery, blending modern design with traditional craftsmanship, and our commitment to quality at affordable prices. Since our inception, we’ve grown significantly. From initially offering just a small collection, we’ve now expanded to over 1000+ unique designs.We’re now looking for investment to help expand our reach and operations further.

6) How have you grown personally from becoming an entrepreneur? Can you share a specific challenge or setback you’ve faced in your career and how you overcame it?

The journey of entrepreneurship has taught me a great deal about resilience, leadership, and adaptability. A key challenge we faced early on was building brand recognition in a crowded market. To address this challenge, we significantly increased our investments in digital marketing and influencer collaborations, enabling us to effectively connect with our target audience.

We’ve also focused on creating a strong, loyal customer base that continues to grow. As a result, we’ve managed to maintain a steady growth trajectory since our launch.

7) How do you foster innovation within your organization, and what role do you see innovation playing in the future of business?

Innovation is essential to the success of Touch925. We encourage our team to think creatively, whether it’s improving the customer experience, designing new products, or exploring new sales channels. Innovation will play an even bigger role as we grow, especially in the silver jewellery industry, where trends shift rapidly. Our future plans include leveraging new technologies to improve our designs and enhance customer service. Innovation is key to staying ahead of competitors in any industry.

8) Could you share a specific accomplishment or milestone in your career that you are particularly proud of?

One accomplishment I’m particularly proud of is the engagement we’ve built in a very short time. Since our launch in July 2023, we’ve reached over 2000+ SKUs and have seen significant engagement across digital platforms. This shows that people are resonating with our products and brand. We are now live on almost all major marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, TataCliq, AJIO, and Eternz, which has expanded our reach considerably. Additionally, our offline presence is growing, with our first position now catching attention at Adani Ports Duty Free. This has allowed us to create a loyal customer base, gather valuable feedback, and grow rapidly. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to see the brand grow from an idea to a well-recognized name in the market.

9) What leadership qualities do you believe are essential for leading a successful business in today’s competitive landscape?

Successful leadership today requires adaptability, clear communication, and a customer-first mentality. It’s important to be able to pivot when necessary, especially in a rapidly changing market. As a leader, you also need to motivate and inspire your team to achieve the company’s vision. Maintaining transparency with both your team and your customers helps build trust, which is crucial for long-term success.

10) Foundr Magazine India often highlights businesses with a strong commitment to ethics and sustainability. Can you discuss your company’s approach to ethical business practices and sustainability initiatives?

At Touch925, we are committed to ensuring that our products are made with the utmost integrity. We work closely with ethical suppliers and artisans to ensure fair labor practices and that our silver is sourced responsibly. Additionally, we are focused on sustainability and use eco-friendly packaging for our products. As we continue to grow, we plan to implement even more sustainable practices, such as offering a jewellery recycling program to encourage customers to repurpose their older pieces.

11) In your opinion, what are the key challenges and opportunities facing your industry today? Any recommendations on overcoming them?

The key challenges facing the silver jewellery industry include rising material costs and the need to stay ahead of changing fashion trends. There’s also growing competition from both mass-market retailers and online stores. However, there are significant opportunities in the increasing demand for sustainable, high-quality jewellery. To overcome these challenges, businesses need to focus on building a strong online presence, offering unique designs, and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

12) What does the future hold for your business and your industry, and what are your long-term goals and visions?

The future of the silver jewellery industry looks promising, especially with the growing demand for affordable luxury. Our long-term vision for Touch925 is to become a leading global brand known for its high-quality, innovative designs. We’re focusing on expanding our product range, increasing our international presence, and continuing to invest in customer-focused innovations. We are also seeking investors to help us take the next step in scaling our business.
