2023 Asian Game: Neeraj Chopra Secures Gold, India's Medal Count Reaches 81

India has made its mark at the 2023 Asian Games, achieving its most stylish-ever order census in the history of the event. As of October 4, India has won an aggregate of 81 orders, with 18 gold orders, 31 tableware orders, and 32 citation orders.

DAY 11: 2023 Asian Game  

On October 4, Indian race trampers Manju Rani and Ram Baboo won the citation order in the 35 km race walk mixed platoon event. On the same day, Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Pravin Ojas Deotale won gold in the emulsion Archery Mixed Team event. Anahat Singh and Abhay Singh inked off with a citation order in squash mixed doubles. Boxer Parveen Hooda has inked off with a citation order.

On October 4, Lovlina Borgohain inked off with tableware in women’s 75 kg boxing after losing to China’s Li Qian.

The highlight of October 4 will be golden boy Neeraj Chopra, who’ll aim for a gold order in the men’s pikestaff gamble final. The event will start at 435 PM( India time).

Day 11  highlights so far

  1.  India settled gold order in archery mixed platoon event.
  2.  Indian prize-fighter Lovlina Borgohain won tableware in 75 kg order
  3.  Neeraj Chopra will play for the gold order at 435 PM
  4.  India Men’s hockey platoon entered the tests after defeating South Korea 5- 3
  5.  India’s Sunil Kumar beats Atabek Azisbekov of Kyrgyzstan in the men’s Greco-Roman 87 kg citation order match.
  6. Harmilan Bains has settled a tableware order for India in women’s 800m.
  7.  India’s Avinash Sable finishes second in 5000m final, wins tableware order
  8. Neeraj Chopra clinches GOLD in Asian Games, tableware for Kishore Jena
  9. India quintet- Vithya Ramraj, Aishwarya Kailash Mishra, Prachi, Subha 
  10. India quartet – Vithya Ramraj, Aishwarya Kailash Mishra, Prachi, Subha Venkatesan – finishes second in the final. Wins silver in Women’s 4X400M relay.
  11. Venkatesan- homestretches second in the final. Wins tableware in Women’s 4X400M relay.
