Financial Markets Take a Pause: Maharashtra's Holiday Reschedules Listings

In commemoration of the Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratisthan,’ financial institutions across Maharashtra have declared a holiday, leading to the closure of both the stock and money markets on January 22. This departure from the usual routine has ripple effects on various public offerings and listings, necessitating a one-day delay.

Specifically, Medi Assist Healthcare Services, initially slated for listing on this day, has recalibrated its debut to January 23. Having concluded on January 17 with an issue price of Rs 418 per share, the subscription rate reached an impressive 16.25 times.

Simultaneously, the Nova Agritech IPO, originally set to kick off from January 22 to January 24, will now open for subscription on January 23, with the listing postponed to January 31. Likewise, the closure of the Epack Durable IPO shifts to January 24 from January 23, and its listing is rescheduled for January 30 instead of January 29.
