Union Health MinisterDr. Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday chaired a high- position meeting to review the Dengue situation in India and the preparedness of the public health system for forestallment, constraint, and operation of Dengue in view of the recent shaft in cases of Dengue across the country.

The Health Minister was briefed on the civil Dengue situation. italicizing the challenge posed by the adding number of dengue cases in the country, Dr Mandaviya noted the significance of being prepared against dengue. He directed the officers to be completely geared up and strengthen forestallment, constraint, and operation measures for Dengue.

Dr Mandaviya stressed that the Union Government has handed all necessary support to the countries for screening accoutrements and has handed fiscal support for fogging and IEC conditioning as well. Healthcare workers have also been trained. He prompted countries to cleave to the guidelines issued by the Centre for forestallment and constraint of dengue.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry, the Union Health Minister also stated that an acceptable fund is handed by the Central Government to the States under the Program Perpetuation Plan( PIP) for following conditioning to help and control dengue cases in India.
